Log Cabin Republicans National Board Elects New Officers

Tim Schoeffler Succeeds Bill Brownson as Chairman

(Washington, DC) – Members of the Log Cabin National Board of Directors elected new leadership for 2006 at their board meeting in Miami Beach this weekend.

The board elected Tim Schoeffler of Washington, DC to succeed Bill Brownson of Columbus, OH as Chairman of the Board. Schoeffler brings two decades of corporate marketing and financial experience to his new post. He served as Vice-Chairman of the Board from 2003-2005. "I'm excited to take on this new responsibility," said Schoeffler. "Log Cabin has achieved important success in the last several years. I look forward to working with Patrick Guerriero and the national board to help take this organization to the next level."

Pete Kingma of Chicago takes over as Vice-Chairman. He served as Secretary of the Board from 2003-2005. Andy Hendricks of Austin, TX was re-elected to serve another term as Treasurer. Marc Yeager of Atlanta was elected to serve as Secretary.

"It has been a pleasure working with Bill Brownson during the past several years," said Schoeffler. "The board thanks him for his incredible leadership. We're fortunate that he will continue serving as a national board member."
