Second Wave of Log Cabin Congressional Endorsements Highlights GOP Challengers

(Washington, DC) - Log Cabin Republicans are proud to announce our second slate of 2012 endorsements for House and Senate candidates, featuring challengers who value individual liberty, personal responsibility, and believe in an inclusive Republican party. "Our membership is excited to support candidates like Linda McMahon of Connecticut, who recently made headlines for her support of DOMA repeal and the freedom to marry," said R. Clarke Cooper, Log Cabin Republicans executive director. "These six candidates, added to the seven challengers from our original slate, are part of Log Cabin Republicans strategy to send reinforcements to our pro-equality champions in the House and Senate. Allies like Congresswoman Judy Biggert (R-IL) have done tremendous work, and by growing the pro-freedom GOP presence, we will make even greater gains for our community."
