Toughest Election Ever For Kolbe?

Rep. Jim Kolbe (R) held off a primary challenge from Joseph Sweeney and will face Tom Volgy (D) in Nov. Volgy beat out Wayne Bryant in the Dem primary. Results with 100% of precincts reporting (AP, 9/9).

AP's Kelley reports, this race "could be (Kolbe's) toughest election test in 14 years." Kolbe and Volgy began campaigning against each other before the primary, with Volgy criticizing Kolbe for taking PAC money and Kolbe saying Volgy wants gov't to solve most problems. Sweeney is a "perennial candidate" (9/9).
